Local Memories

Our local tourist spots are those that must not be left unseen. They are the ones we should visit first before going into another country. Here are some of the remarkable places I went to around the Philippines:

  • BORACAY ISLAND

It is a very famous beach tourist spot here in the Philippines as it is referred to as the “white beach”. A lot of people visit this place as there are various water activities that promise people a good time such as banana boating, parasailing, helmet diving and the like. Be sure to book as early as possible because there are tons of people that want to go to this place, especially during the summer season.

  • PALAWAN

Like Boracay, Palawan is a known beach spot in the Philippines. In fact, this island houses the “Underground river” which is part of the 7 wonders of the world. How cool, right? Palawan is famous for its lagoons that are best for swimming and snorkeling activities. Compared to Boracay, it is quieter in Palawan. But nonetheless, the beauty of the environment is very evident. palawan.jpg

  • BOHOL

Bohol is famous for its chocolate hills so, of course, we would not go back to Manila without getting a view of it. Moreover, the city also has several historical places that our family visited to learn a few information about the past of the Philippines. This place is rich of educational tourist spots.

Philippines is such a wonderful place. As Filipinos, we must learn to give importance to all the wonders our country has in store for us. Let’s support and travel our own legacies before going to another man’s island.
